Kyle is super busy with school, church callings, getting ready for 2 internships this summer, and still finds plenty of time for his family. We just went to the Salt Lake City Zoo last Saturday and had a blast. Because of our babysitting swap he has managed to take me on a fun date almost every weekend...oh the blessed time without the children!
I am busy with, it seems, everything! I feel like I always have at least one sick person in the house to take care of. The weather has been great lately so I have spent a lot of time outside with the kids. I'm trying to keep the few flowers that I have alive. Despite the many hours I spend in the sun I am still quite un-tan. I have been enjoying scrap booking online with shutterfly and recommend it to everyone.
Currently Isaac is taking swimming lessons. The first one didn't go so well but he is doing better now and only has a frown on half of the time. He loves, loves, loves his friends and insists on playing with them all of the time (usually his tantrums are a result of me saying, we are just going to stay home today). I try fun things with him at home all the time to keep him occupied but he just loves being with other kids so much. He is in the 95th percentile for height and weight, so in other words, he is huge when compared to other kids his age. He looks more like the 5 years olds but still acts his age, which is 3. Isaac wants me to write that he likes icecream cones and that his name is Isaac or bear. Kyle called him Ike today and he corrected him saying, "thats not my name, my name is bear!"
Luke the goose is everywhere! He needs a bath everyday now because he is still crawling and loves the mud, dirt and sand. He isn't feeling well right now because he has an ear infection and he is cutting his molars but usually he is a sweet and happy baby. He is hilarious and makes everyone around him laugh. He also loves animals. We took him to 2 zoos this past week and he was mesmerized by all the animals. His favorite thing to do write now is share. He will even share the half-chewed cheerio in his mouth. The most recent thing he has tried to share has been his mother's hair--he grabbed it and held it out to the man behind us in church. Lovely. Most people don't appreciate his willingness to share but we think it will benefit him in the long run.
We are excited to see some of our friends and family this summer. Kyle will be helping a guy start up his business in Alpine in May and August and we will be headed to Denver, Colorado in June and July for Kyle's internship with Exclusive Resorts (if you have time, check out their website...its crazy how much money people have!) I am planning on making a trip to Maryland with the boys as well, so we will be all over this summer and having a good time. We hope everyone is happy and healthy and we look forward to hearing some of your updates! Love, the Widdisons
