Happy 11 years!

For our 11th anniversary we celebrated in Park City the day after school got out.  We were only a month late and it was a good breather before the reality of summer hit:)  Our good friends and neighbors, the Parkers, watched our kids for us.  First we checked into the hotel.  We got a studio--but it was HUGE!  Big enough for the whole family next time.  It was a great deal because it wasn't skiing season and it was considered early season for the summer.  There was a huge dining table as well as the bar and stools, 2 bathrooms, 1 queen bed, 1 pull out couch and bunk beds!!

Kyle let me shop until I dropped.  It has been 5 years since we shopped at the outlets, and I loved it!  Kyle, survived.

We didn't realize how awesome our hotel choice was until we saw that right out our back door was the alpine slide!

The roller coaster was a big hit.  It was only this nice on the way up...I screamed the whole ride down.

 I found a bug in my eye...gross.

BEST carmel apples at Rocky Mountain Chocolate!
We tried to go to the Bandit restaurant last time we were in Park City but they were closed.  We really enjoyed our meal there and we especially loved their fried pickles.  I've tried them at Texas Road House and I thought they were disgusting...but they were really yummy at the Bandit!!

Love this guy!!  It was such a fun trip...I only wish we could do it every month!

Saratoga Splash and the Riv!

I've been involved in some of the Saratoga Community Events this past year, and one of them was Saratoga Splash--specifically I ran the talent show, "Saratoga's Got Talent!"  Oliver supported the Splash events by entering the baby contest and because he is so cute--he won!:)  And because he won, WE got to ride in the chic-fil-a cow train.  Besides my rear falling asleep, and Oliver trying to climb out the last 10 minutes of the parade (he was done--it was a long parade), we had a good time.  The kids loved to watching the parade with Dad.

Isaac got to ride in a police car at Saratoga Splash

Our city also has a band perform to finish off the celebrations.  The band this year was Moosebutter and Wondervoice and they were so much fun and extremely talented!

A few days before Father's Day, the kids and I took a trip to Provo to get daddy a new BYU hat.  We also went and visited the Riv and the kids loved hearing the story of me and Kyle meeting and dating there.  Kyle's old apartment...I think:)
Wasn't sure if my memory was correct so we took TWO pictures!
I told the kids we could move in if they wanted!

I was so confused...I didn't think I was apartment 100--they added a bishops office up there and so I think the numbers are all different, but this is definitely the doorstep where Kyle kissed me for the first time.

We also went to the art museum.  The pretzel was our favorite.
It is hard to get all 4 kids looking at the camera

treats and ice cream.  The kids were a little sick on the way home! hahaha!
But look how happy they ARE!

I didn't want to take Oliver in the library and so I let the three oldest go in, walk down the stairs and then back up the stairs...I tried to watch them the whole time but got nervous when it took them more than a couple minutes.  Kyle would have died if he was there....he's a little more protective then me:)
But look, they all made it out alive!!
