Valentines Day and St. Patricks Day 2013

Happy Valentines Day 2013
Daddy brought Ruby pink roses.

We used to do the 14 days of love at our house...now we do the 7 days of love before Valentines day.  MUCH more manageable for mom:)

Naughty Leprechaun  left a mess!
 AND some treats!

Our kids enjoy making traps each year.  This year we forgot--and Kyle and I were on a date, when the babysitter called around 9 pm.  The boys were concerned because they hadn't made one yet!  She was awesome and helped them make a good one---but he chiseled a hole int he box anyways and escaped!

All about Oliver

I think these pictures speak for themselves. This kids has a cute and crazy personality.

He is constantly "washing" himself with yogurt, pudding, and mac and cheese.  That is why he is still in the high chair!

Starting to learn to help out around the house. If there is quiet in the house, we search for Oliver and usually find a huge water mess somewhere.  He loves water!

Stopping to smell the roses (or dead flowers)

Last snow.  He loves the snow!

Best Friend and neighbor Karly

She is 7 months older:)

Still taking naps for me.  YES!!  even if he ends up on his floor sometimes.  I don't mind.

He is the treat king, but he also loves veggies!  He is eating broccoli and a sucker in this picture.  All his doing.  Hilarious.

LOVES, LOVES, LOVES books.  Begs for more and more every night at bedtime.

We love our climbs and jumps off of anything, likes to be silly, and messy, and super sensitive little man.  He is our favorite baby boy right now:)  We need to get his voice on the video camera.  It is a hoot to listen to.  He loves Snoot Snacks,

Ruby the Sister

She might always be the only sister in the family, and we are sure thankful for her!  This is one of her homework papers from preschool. I LOVE it.  She figured out how to make the capital I's a little faster.  She just drew lines and then one big long line on top, and one on bottom.  My favorite paper she has brought home so far!

These two love popping packaging bubbles.  Ruby was trying to teach Oliver how to pop the little ones with spoons.  Her idea.  It didn't work, but I though it was cute:)

She sometimes helps Oliver get ready for bed.  We came in the bathroom to find this one night.

Tea party with Ruby, Oliver, and my doll Suzie Soft Sounds from when I was little.

Kyle LOVES to get his hair done by Ruby.

It is cold sometimes at breakfast time.  Ruby knows how to solve her own problems.

We forgot to take the traditional birthday picture with Ruby on her birthday, so we did one on Lukes:)

Sometimes, brothers tease sister.  She didn't want him to chase her this time.

We've also learned that sister is a little more sensitive.  She hurt her foot.  It was sad.

She watched the others play in the snow holding onto her foot for a LONG time.

She is such a big girl and keeps asking me when she can go to kindergarten.  She still has another year to go thankfully!:)  Here she is waiting for her ride to preschool.

Ruby's new favorite thing is to take Oliver into our closet and dress them both up like mom and dad.

Sometimes they just use the shoes:)
