Day 3: Monday--day of beaching it, arrival of the Tingey Family, and Birthday celebrations for an old man. (I purposely didn't take a lot of pictures--yes sometimes I just enjoy the moments without the camera--it is quite nice.)
Picnic on the porch.

Ruby eating in the same high chair at the beach that I ate in when I was a baby! The nostalgia!

The view from up here is good--Ruby can see lots of dogs and birds playing on the beach and she is sure to point them all out more than once.

Ruby meeting up with adorable baby Kelsie. She LOVES babies and Kelsie was no exception. She was always pointing at her making sure we knew when she was around.

Meet Mr. Jungles. The boys brought their own money so they could buy something to California. Luke's money didn't quite make it to California, but at a pit stop along the way, he fell in love with this monkey. He went most everywhere with us and is still well loved here at home.

The boys were so excited to have the Jordan and the rest of the Tingey clan to join us on the beach. The didn't get to the beach house until dinner time but they made sure to have a little bit of beach fun wearing life vests.
(Jordan, far left, and Isaac are only 6 weeks apart--friends come in all different sizes:)

And last but not least. Kyle got to watch a college Basket ball game, eat thrifty icecream, and celebrate his 31st birthday AT the beach with his amazing family and friends. Lucky guy!

Don't forget honey, we also bought you a house for your birthday:)

(don't count the candles...I didn't...who doesn't want their age slightly inflated in candles?)
FYI--our move date is this Saturday! Yipee!!
