At the end of July we celebrated a Happy 2nd Birthday to our boy Oliver!
His big present this year was a mini permanent b-ball hoop. A couple months ago he was really into basketball...so I came up with the idea and begged Kyle to saw our old one in half (his old one from when he was 14years old) and get a new one for the older boys. Oliver thought it was a good idea too! It can change from 3 ft to 6 1/2 feet.
This was the Sunday before his birthday, he was just looking so grown up with his new haircut.

On the morning of his birthday we practiced holding up two fingers and opened a couple presents (Lightening McQueen and Mater are recycled presents...got them for 10 cents each at a garage sale when Isaac was 3...and they work great and he loves them! Never mind that they were just put away in storage to save for this day 9 months ago:)

Oliver loves to watch the ants outside. His aunt Krystal made him a cute shirt with an ant on the front.
I'm a cheater when it comes to birthday cakes. I just jazz it up with some new toys:)

Our neighbor (Karly's dad) thought it would be good to ask Oliver where his head, eyes and ears were--while he was covered in cake and ice cream. It was funny...we will get him back someday:)
We love you Oliver and are so happy to have you in our family!! It is great to be two...but it would be even greater if you would stop yelling all your words, stop hurting your sister, and stop demanding treats all the time. We have a lot of years to work on it, but how about by the time you are 3 you can be done with those habits and move onto some new ones?

You are so good at documenting all the funny moments. I loved th eyes ears hair...so great. Happy birthday...2 is so much fun and so many messes. Up next potty training.
