Smart Habit Saturday.

Smart Habit Saturday
I found this through a friend's blog. It thought it is a great idea and something I am definitely going to try. Visit this website http://laragallagher.com/blog/labels/Smart%20Habit%20Saturday.html if you want to see more about it (you can even sign up to be a link with everyone else who is doing it--I chose not to, that is too much pressure!:) Basically, it is just choosing something SMALL to work on and improve in your life each week. Such as going to bed on time or flossing your teeth each night. Every week you just add another one or add it when you finally have the first one down. Anyways, I LOVED LOVED LOVED Sister Beck's talk (http://www.lds.org/conference/talk/display/0,5232,49-1-775-27,00.html) this past conference. I have been praying for a talk like hers ever since I became a mother. I fully expected to get a "mother" talk the first conference after I had Isaac but it didn't happen! Sister Beck's talk was well worth the wait. She totally motivated me and made me feel all pumped up to do everything in my life better, especially being a mother, but where to start?? I think anyone who is trying at all is doing a great job, but we can all do better, right? I think all of us are always trying to do better and be a better person and I think starting small is a great way to begin. Sorry, I don't know how to do the special links on my own, you will have to copy and paste if you want to check this out!:)

WooF WooF

I never found a dog costume that I liked so instead I bought some pj's at Costco and bought a pattern and sewed the head and the tail...last night I figured how to make the head go around in back like a shower cap instead of tying it in the front under his chin(which would drive him crazy). Then I got brave and made some paws for him without a pattern. This was fun to do but I am sooo glad I didn't make the whole costume...plus, now he has some warm pjs!:) Isn't he a cute little puppy!

To cut or to keep?

I am having a hard time in deciding to cut or keep Luke's curls. He is a year and a half--still a baby to me, but are the curls out of control? What do you think? Trim it, do nothing, or cut it short?

Too much fun!

We have had so much fun this past week. First we had a neighborood bbq (sorry to anyone who sees this who lived beyond our circle...we had to keep it kind of small!) Then today we went to Cornbellys-- a sweet pupmpkin patch. Isaac's favorite thing was the huge jumping pillows but I didn't get a picture of him. Actually, when I asked him his favorite part, he said, "playing with my friends...and the jumping." He is very social and LOVES LOVES LOVES his friends. Lukes favorite part were the singing chickens. We all loved the slides!

Luke's second date with Meg didn't go so well. She didn't want to share her apple with him. I think he still likes her.

Luke was exhausted. Isaac was just happy to still be with friends for the ride home.

This is a picture of the soccer team I was a part of for literally 10 seconds. I recruited my sister in law Jill to be on the team and she was a good sport and stayed on and has played great! Go team! I have been at their last two game to cheer them on! The love hearing me shout for them from the sidelines.
