My two babies

How did my baby girl grow so big in just one week?
(right after this picture was taken Oliver puked next to Ruby's face...we thought she would be done with him but she cried and cried until we got a new blanket and resumed the positions.)

She gets really worried and sad when Oliver cries.

This is the dolly we gave her when we brought Ollie home from the hospital...she loved it for about 30 seconds until she figured out what we were trying to do. She new she had traded down and immediately resumed her hovering position over HER baby Oliver. I think that has been the hardest part...she wants to be near him, touching him, and loving him all the time. She also continues to hand me stuff while I'm feeding him. So by the time he is done nursing, I have him in my lap as well as about 20 other baby items. She is always so helpful!!

(ignore the bed head:)

My baby girl is having a hard week...she is mostly really good but gets a little impatient towards the end of Oliver's meal times and wants mommy or daddy to hold her all the time...but she hasn't shown any jealousy YET...just making sure we don't forget she is still our baby girl.

Kyle has been working half days so I am left in the morning trying to figure out how to juggle all of Oliver's feedings around quality time with the other 3. We are managing and so far, surviving and even smiling sometimes in between the baby blue cries...which can be triggered by NOTHING. Eating a bowl of cheerios or reading "spot goes to the park" has never been so sad!:) But overall, we are all doing great! Kyle is taking good care of all of us. He has already done 3 fun activities with the kids in the afternoon and is taking them to Kangaroo zoo tomorrow...I'm a little jealous!!

Isn't it amazing how our babies become giants overnight when a new on comes home?? I remember the first time I changed Jesse's diaper when Danny went back to work after Grace was born. I was amazed at how big his bum had gotten in just a few days! He looks so teeny tiny next to his big sis! Cute babies!

That Oliver looks like an itty bitty little peanut (a cute one, of course). Your kids have great names.

Love the pictures! He is a doll and isn't it crazy how your baby is a "baby" until you bring home a new tiny baby? Hannah is also getting big but since she is our last, she will always look like my baby. We were however looking at pictures and videos of Hannah when she was a newborn, and I am for sure going to miss that. Congrats Emily and I know that Ruby will also be Oliver's mommy.

I love those pictures. So sweet.
I had to nurse Jack with two other babies on my lap, one barely 3, the other 19 months!

very crowded.

What a sweetie! Congratulations. Good luck with all the juggling and the sleeplessness. I know what you mean about eating a bowl of cheerios being sad :)

You are bringing back the flashbacks! It's so hard at times, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world. Every baby is an adjustment for everyone in the household, well it always was at my house! Hang in there!

She suddenly does look so big, funny how that happens. You are doing great with juggling the 4 kids. It will get easier. Hang in there.

Where did all that curly hair come from on Ruby--so cute. I didn't remember it being that curly. Love Mom
