Lately...

Lately we've been doing lots and lots.

Lots of cleaning.

Lots of reading.

Lots of holding.
(mostly Mom and Dad doing that)

(and in case you were wondering, Oliver looks so much like his daddy)


Lots of practicing.

Isaac just started piano lessons last week. Gulp. We've already had one major melt down and as he sad there crying I sat there completely confused, bewildered, and in awe of my mother. Why and How did she put up with this for so many years from all of her children? Do I even dare? Is is worth it? We shall see. One meltdown down. 2 million, 87 to go.


Lots of chill.

And we FINALLY had another video chat with my parents in Guatemala. The kids loved it but the sound was awful. In part because of our connection but also because the kids were going crazy. Fighting to be seen on the computer screen and Ruby thought it should only be her on the screen. She spent most of the chat in her room chillin.:) It was fun to see and chat with my parents. Hopefully we will understand more of what they have to say next time. I think my kids favorite part was when Grandma and Grandpa pretended to fight over the computer screen, imitating their lovely grandchildren. It was pretty funny to see the shoving and pushing and hair pulling.

And lots of planting trees. I don't have a picture of Kyle sweating for hours in the sun planting NINE trees in our yard so this picture will have to do.
